RELEASE NOTES When two people are in frame the app finds the speaker. Not a separate setting — it is automatic inside both « Smart (face) » and « Face tracking ». If more than one face is visible, the app compares sound with picture: the person whose mouth movement lines up with the audio envelope is the one speaking, and the frame goes to them. The frame does not run off because someone moved their mouth for nothing. When the speaker changes, it cuts there. On single-person scenes this step never runs (so you never wait for nothing); the first time it is needed the vision engine downloads once (~200 MB). Face detection is far better in dark scenes. The search ran on a small image with no contrast correction, and in dark studio footage it found no faces at all. Measured: on the same three frames the old settings found 0 faces; the new ones find them all. The clip is now SPLIT at a camera cut. When the source video switches between two speakers, the app finds that moment, cuts the clip in two right there and centres each piece on its own face. No drifting, no animation — because the picture is already cutting, a framing change there goes unnoticed. Measured on a real project: in a four-minute video 23 of 23 camera cuts were found. Face framing is measured far more often. Previously at most 12 samples were taken per clip; with « no cutting » selected that meant one measurement every 21.5 seconds on a 237-second video — most cuts were invisible and the framing settled on the average of long stretches. It is now measured about every 0.45 seconds. Face detection also runs on a larger image with contrast correction (because the framing magnifies the picture 3.16×, a 1-pixel error became 13 pixels on screen). « Smart (face) » framing is also set per scene. Previously three samples were taken across the clip and their average was used as a single crop position; once a cut came in between, that average landed exactly halfway between the two speakers — that is, on nobody. ← Back to the documentation

Something wrong in the new version?
Inside the app, choose Updates → Roll back to the previous version. It downloads the installer, verifies it and installs it for you. Your downloads and settings stay exactly as they are.
You can also download any version manually from the list below.
What recent releases gave you
- One-file setup: run the exe, « next, next, install » — no extra downloads, no manual steps.
- The same reliability on every machine: the bugs around long file paths, non-Latin user names and folders with spaces are closed.
- Processing is now in plain sight: minimise it, send it to the tray, and see the time elapsed and remaining.
- Nothing fails quietly: if a tool is missing from the install, it is now named.
- ✨ Ready-made items: from 130 to 655. Add › Ready-made items has 525 new items. The gallery is now grouped into 28 categories under 6 topics: Engagement, Streamer, Explainers, Facts and data, Titles and identity, and Content types.
- 🗂 A new gallery. Topic tiles sit above the gallery; click one and only that topic’s categories show. « For you » gathers the items you used most recently and the ones you’ve marked as favorites with ☆. Hover over an item and it plays a live preview, and search now works across the whole gallery.
- 🎯 53 ready-made items can be attached to Object tracking. Items that can be attached carry a 🎯 mark. Arrows and pointers move along with the tracked object, in the exported video too.
- 📚 New in the Library. 50 new Transitions, 30 Animations, 30 Video FX, 30 Audio FX and 20 modern Frames.
- 📐 Rulers and guides in the preview. The preview now has rulers and guide lines, like the ones in Photoshop.
- 🔄 « Invert » in Area FX. When it’s on, the effect is applied outside the area you selected; the inside of the area stays as it is.
- 📂 Drag and drop onto the empty screen. You can drop files straight onto the empty screen, and « Add files » now accepts any kind of media.
- 🌍 In all 13 languages. All the new items and effects are available in the program’s 13 languages.
3.9.440
OCTOBER 2026- 🔧 Export works with the new processing engine too. On newly set-up PCs the latest version of the processing engine (ffmpeg) had dropped an old option, so in Super Edit the export failed at the very first step with « Operation failed », even on raw video with no editing. The program now picks the form the engine supports by itself.
3.9.439
OCTOBER 2026- 🧰 Everything is installed during setup. The setup screen now lists every component with its size, all checked by default: Automatic subtitles, Audio cleanup, Audio separation, Read-aloud and dubbing, Offline translation, Smart subtitles and AI editing, Object tracking, Face tracking and smart framing, Speaker colors. What you choose downloads in its newest version during setup; the program never downloads anything later on its own. If you open a feature you didn’t choose at setup, an « Open setup » button appears and setup opens with that component checked. A component that fails is shown by name and only that one is retried.
- 🗑 Uninstalling leaves nothing behind. When you remove Weorclip from Programs, all downloaded engines, models, caches, temporary files and browser bridge registrations are deleted too. You’re asked separately about your saved clips and browser sessions; if you say no, they stay.
- 🧩 Illustrated guide for the browser extension. When setup finishes, a step-by-step guide opens: developer mode, loading the folder and pinning the icon to the toolbar, with faithful drawings of the Edge and Chrome screens. The « Open the extensions page » and « Copy the folder path » buttons make it quicker. You can return to the guide any time from the Start menu.
- 🖥 Fits every display scale. On PCs with Windows display scaling at 125%, 150% or 175% and on small screens, windows now open at the right size and adapt when you move them to another monitor. Super Edit doesn’t overflow in a narrow window: « Export » is always visible and the timeline doesn’t crush the preview. The other editors and the extension’s window fit small screens too.
- 🔧 Fixes. On PCs without torch already installed, object tracking and read-aloud could not be installed; fixed. Face tracking didn’t open on PCs whose user folder name has non-English letters, or on clean Windows installs with Windows’ built-in Python shortcut; the program now uses its own Python.
3.9.438
OCTOBER 2026- ✨ Ready-made items: from 30 to 130. Add › Ready-made items has 100 new items, and the gallery is now grouped under 11 headings; « Cards and titles », « Data and charts », « Education and explainers », « Gaming and streaming » and « Atmosphere and light » are new. Click a heading button above the gallery and only that heading’s items remain; search works together with them. Each item’s intro, on-screen hold and outro were designed separately; you change its design, colors and its own settings in the panel on the right. Settings that take a list are now a multi-line box: you write one entry per line.
- 📊 Data, lessons and info. Bar chart race, Donut chart, Line chart, Gauge, Radar chart and Stock ticker draw your data as you type it. Keyboard shortcut, Code window, Step-by-step guide, Quiz and Dictionary card are for explainer videos. Weather, Route map, Recipe card, Price tag and a QR code that phones can really scan are new too.
- 🎮 Gaming, streaming and social. Health bar, Level up, Achievement unlocked, Kill feed, Boss intro, Scoreboard, Loot card and Stream alert are for gaming videos; Chat thread, Social post, Question box, Lock screen and Profile card are for social media. Episode card, Guest card, Event card, End screen and Credits roll take care of the start and end of the video.
- 🎥 Camera, atmosphere and effects. VHS tape, Drone HUD, Security camera, Scope mask, Anamorphic flare, Clapperboard and Timecode give a camera-footage look. Light leak, Bokeh, Rain on glass, Snowfall, Sunbeams and Fireworks add mood to the scene. Digital glitch, Shockwave, Magic dust, Lightning and Portal are for transition moments.
- 🖼 30 new animated frames. Library › Frames has three new headings: « Nature and elements », « Tech and energy » and « Fun and crafts ». Flame, Ivy, Northern lights, Circuit board, Heart monitor, Equalizer, Hologram, Scrolling text, Snake, Chain, Stitching, DNA helix and the others follow the visible edge of the image: a circle, a star, a heart, a shape you drew or a transparent logo. Each new frame also has its own settings.
3.9.437
OCTOBER 2026- ⚡ Edit live clips in the background. With the new « Do it in the background » in Live clip capture, the clip you capture is edited without opening Super Edit: the AI edit preset you chose is applied directly and the video is saved to the output folder. You follow the progress in the Queue tab and get a notification when it’s done. « Processing power » lets you keep your game from stuttering: Game-friendly uses at most 30% of the CPU and leaves encoding to the graphics card’s dedicated encoder; Balanced uses at most 50%, and Full power has no limit. The same choice is also in Settings › Download speed.
- 📌 Pin to Video: point first, then content. With « Pick a point in the video » you click a spot in the video; the point is created, and from its card you add text, an image or a video on top of it. You can also attach an item on the timeline to the point with « Attach selected ». Wherever the camera goes, what you added stays on that point in the video. Videos can now be pinned too: a small video plays on a point of the big video.
- ⏱ A range in object tracking. With « Track only a range » you have the object tracked in just part of the clip, for example between seconds 11 and 22. You type the start and end, or take them from the playhead with « Now ». Since the rest of the clip isn’t read, the job finishes sooner. You can narrow or widen the range later with « Change » on the track card; your marks are kept.
- 🖼 Make the area you select an image. In Select area, « Extract » now comes in two kinds: « As video » puts the area on a layer that plays, and « As image » turns that area into a picture at its original resolution, taken from the frame at the playhead. With Smart select, everything outside the shape you selected stays transparent. You can also right-click a video layer and choose « Turn this frame into an image » to turn it into a picture of the current frame.
- 🎞 Channel by channel in Keyframe Studio. Click a channel’s diamond in the strip and you select and move only that channel’s key; for example, you shift only the zoom and leave the position alone. You change values by dragging the bar or typing the number.
- 🧩 In layout panels, every tool works in the right panel. In a split screen, 🎥 Camera now works in every panel: you zoom and pan inside the panel, and the panel stays in place. After Game + Camera, you can also pan inside the camera or game band. In Pin to Video and object tracking, you pick the panel on the « Select a panel » map and that panel’s video opens. Extracting an area to a layer also takes it from what the panel is showing at that moment.
- ↕ Drop between layers. When you drop a clip between two layers, a new « Inserted layer » opens in between; the other layers keep their names, order and layout settings. When you select several videos or images from your computer, they are all added one after another, not on top of each other: three videos of 4, 3 and 2 minutes become a single 9-minute sequence.
- 🎮 Camera area in the extension. In the Edge extension, Editing & Subtitles › Game + Camera now has « Camera area »: on Auto, the band keeps the shape of the streamer’s camera; by hand, you choose anywhere from 20% to 60%. The preview and the Overlays preview show both bands with sample images, and you adjust them by dragging.
- 🖥 Local videos open faster. A video on your computer now opens in Super Edit directly from the disk, with no wait for a copy. If a large video stutters on a weak computer, the app offers « Prepare a light preview »; the export still comes from the original file. For a video that was moved or renamed, the « Relink » window appears when the project opens and searches for the file for you. The editor you open from the Edge extension now opens in the app’s window too.
- 🟢 Kick’s past broadcasts download again. Kick had changed the address format of its stream recordings: when you pasted a recording link, the app said the recording had been deleted. Now it resolves the link itself; the info card, quality choice, right-click download and range download work again. No sign-in or cookies needed. Kick keeps recordings for about 30 days; when a recording has expired, the app says so clearly.
- 🔧 Fixes. A transition you give an animated item now applies in the exported video too; before, it showed in the preview but was dropped from the output, or the export failed with an error. Two markers placed a split second apart no longer delete each other. In the Free Composition Editor and in Multi-Panel, range download now fetches only the parts you chose; a one-hour video is no longer downloaded in full. Text that had stayed in Turkish in the Free Composition Editor is now translated. The stutter when clicking Output Format › Editor in the extension is gone. A job left half-done when the app closed no longer holds up the next jobs in the queue. Operations start faster because the engine is already up and waiting.
3.9.436
OCTOBER 2026- 🪄 Select by color. With the new « Select by color » in Select area, you select a flat-colored region in one click — a country on a map, for example. Text, dots and roads inside the region are included in the selection. You set how far the selection spreads with the Tolerance slider; « Auto » finds that value for you: the widest one that doesn’t spill into neighboring areas. If the selection still looks like it would spill into neighboring areas, the app asks before applying it.
- ✏️ Pen. In Select area, you draw the area you want freehand with the pen; the line closes by itself when you release the mouse. With « Snap to edges » on, the line settles onto the nearby color edge even if your hand shakes. Shift adds the area you draw to the selection and Alt takes it out; Select by color works the same way. To separate two neighboring regions of the same color, first draw roughly around one of them with the pen, then click inside it with Select by color: only the inside of what you drew around is selected. « Draw » in the Mask card and « Free » in Area FX now draw by dragging too.
- 🤖 Smart select. For things that aren’t a single color, such as a person, an animal, an object or a region of mixed colors, turn on « Smart select » in Select area, then click the object, draw a box around it or roughly draw around it. An AI that runs on your computer (SAM 2.1) finds the outline of the object or region and selects it. Shift+click adds to the selection, Alt+click removes from it.
- 🎞 Frame-by-frame mask. If you tick « Follow video » while selecting with Select by color, the Pen or Smart select, the outline of the area is followed through the video frame by frame: when the region grows, moves or changes shape, the mask changes with it. In the Mask card you can turn « Follow video » on and off; « Detach » keeps the mask static in its current shape. The preview and the export show the same shape on every frame.
- ✂️ Use as mask. In object tracking, the new « Use as mask » on the track card cuts the tracked object out in its own shape and puts it on a new layer; the layer’s mask follows the object’s shape frame by frame. That way you can, for example, bring a person in front of the text or apply an effect to the object only.
- 🎯 More accurate object tracking. The object’s mask now takes exactly the shape of each frame: no one-frame shift, even in 60 fps, 29.97 fps and variable frame rate videos. In a split clip, « Fix » works in both parts. When a clip is very long, the parts around your marks are tracked and the app tells you so; click the object with « Fix » in the striped sections of the strip and the track extends there too.
- 🔧 Fixes. The gap / background color you pick in Layout & Composition now shows in the exported video too; before, the background always came out black. In designed text written in Arabic, the words are now in the right order in both the preview and the export: the first word is on the right, and numbers and words in Latin script stay where you typed them. Text or an image attached to object tracking now moves with the object in the right place, even in a zoomed-in video or one with a moving camera; before, it could end up far from the object. If you change the zoom later, it settles back into place by itself.
3.9.435
OCTOBER 2026- 🎞 Keyframe Studio. Keyframes are now edited in a large window: a live preview on the left, a zoomable time strip at the bottom, and the values with a large speed curve on the right. Open it with « Edit in a large window » or Shift+K. You can copy and paste keyframes, move them in time, stretch them or reverse them; there is also the « Step » transition, « My curves » for saving your own curves, and familiar shortcuts such as F9. Adding a keyframe in between no longer stops a flowing motion, and splitting a clip no longer breaks the camera move. Texts that had been translated twice and came out garbled are fixed as well.
- 📌 Pin to Video. With the new « Pin to Video » in Modes, you pin a text, an image or a GIF to a spot in the video: even when the camera zooms in, pans or the clip is cut, the item stays on that spot. When the spot leaves the frame the item disappears, and it comes back when the spot does — without jitter.
- 🔲 Snap to shape and Circle. In Select area, draw a rough box around a shape and press « Snap to shape »: it finds a shape with a clear edge, such as a hexagon, circle, star, heart or rounded square, and fits the selection exactly to that edge. When it is not sure, it asks you to check the edges; when it finds no shape at all, it leaves your selection alone. The new Circle tool selects an oval, or a perfect circle with Shift.
- 🖼 Frames follow the shape, plus 10 animated frames. A frame now follows the edge of the image as it appears on screen — masks, crops, rounded corners, transparent PNGs and GIFs included. Polaroid, Hand-drawn, Stage lights and the others no longer stay square around rounded corners, stars or hearts. New animated frames: Marching ants, Flowing rainbow, Neon pulse, Comet, Chasing bulbs, Electric, Shine sweep, Sparkles, Glitch and Self-drawing line.
- ✨ 10 new ready-made items. Ready-made items in the Add tab now include Emoji rain, Breaking news ticker, Sale badge, Numbered title, Checklist, True / False stamp, Before / After label, VS comparison, Speed lines and Channel watermark. The gallery is grouped under six headings, and an item’s opacity and fades look in the preview just as they do in the export.
- 🗣 Read aloud keeps the text animation intact. With « Match the text duration to the reading » on, a designed text’s intro and outro play at their own speed; when the text is very short, they speed up by 1.5× at most. The flash on the first frame, the jump at the outro and the letters dimming and flaring in fast motion are gone. A split text moves as one and is read only once.
- 🖱 Ctrl removes from the selection. On the timeline and in the preview, Ctrl+click adds an item to the selection or, if it is already selected, takes it out; Shift+click now does the same. A box dragged with Ctrl from an empty spot removes the selected items inside it, while dragging with Shift still adds. Ctrl+clicking an empty spot no longer clears the whole selection.
3.9.434
SEPTEMBER 2026- 🎥 Fill style with the camera. Fill, Blur+small, Blur+close and Top+Bottom now work with « Camera: zoom and pan across the whole frame »: the camera shows the whole source and the yellow area has the shape of the middle video; you can move anywhere in the source and animate it with keyframes. In Top+Bottom, « Top region » and « Bottom region » are set separately. In the panel, Focus and Size are replaced by « Set framing with the camera ».
- 🖐 The middle video no longer breaks. Dragging a video with a blurred background in the preview or turning on « ◆ Record » no longer removes the blurred background; dragging pans the middle video’s framing and, if there are keyframes, writes to that frame. Changing the style keeps the framing; older projects open as they were.
- ⚡ Faster export. Preparing designed texts is about 5 times faster (1:33 instead of 8:45 on a job with nine texts); 4K output of zoomed video is about 2 times faster. Encoding on the graphics card (NVENC) never kicked in — fixed.
- 🛠 Fixes. Blur animation and the mask on an item whose size changes now look in the export the way they do in the preview. GIFs play in the preview. On a clip with a blurred background, the zoom applies only to the middle video even when the playhead is on another clip during export. The export warning title is translated in every language.
3.9.433
SEPTEMBER 2026- 🖼 Frames. 20 ready-made frames in Super Edit’s Library tab: thin, bold, neon, gold, polaroid, film strip, light bulbs and more. The frame fits the edge of the image by itself — square, rounded corners, circle, oval or the outline of a transparent PNG. You set its color, thickness, glow and shadow.
- ✨ Ready-made items. 20 new items in the Add tab: a subscribe button, live and recording badges, a name strip, a countdown ring, a poll, stars, confetti, cinema bars and more. You can change each one’s design, color, text, position and speed.
- 🛤 Paths. Every motion path you draw is saved to the Paths list; you can attach the same path to another image, text or video. In the large editing window you move, smooth and simplify its points; press B for soft selection, which pulls neighboring points along. ➕ Add next to a path puts the selected item on it; added items are listed under the path and ✖ removes them.
- 🎯 Tracking and text size. Text or an image attached to object tracking keeps the size it had when you attached it; with « Layer grows and shrinks too » on, it grows and shrinks with the object from that moment. Text that follows a track now glides smoothly in the export instead of jittering. You can shrink text down to 10% of its natural size, and the selection box shrinks with it.
- 🧩 A layout for each clip. You can apply a layout to the whole video or only to the clips you select: one part can be a split screen, another a single frame. Layout changes can be undone with Ctrl+Z.
- 🎬 Edit the AI framing afterwards. In the framing that AI Edit builds, you swap the bands, zoom each band in or out and move it; in Game + Camera you choose afterwards whether the camera sits at the top or the bottom. « Manual framing » and « Split game and camera » are now gathered in this one place.
- ✂️ Cropping rebuilt from scratch. Crop now works like Select area: draw the box, adjust it from its edges and corners, pick a ratio, apply. Images and GIFs can be cropped too. On a video with a blurred background, the crop applies only to the image in front.
- 🎥 Camera zoom over a blurred background. The camera zoom now applies only to the image in front; the blurred background stays put.
- ✨ Automatic title in Super Edit. AI Edit writes a short title from what is said in the clip and shows it at the start of the video in the text design you choose.
- ⏱ Timeline. Dragging with Alt makes a copy of the clip. Zooming in by hand turns Follow off by itself. You can give markers a color. « Cut silences » applies to the clips you select, or to all of them when nothing is selected.
- 🔊 Audio fixes. Cleaned or dubbed audio stays in place when you move, split or trim the clip. Speed changes on music and narration now reach the export too. Mute on a video track and « Volume (%) » now reach the clip’s audio, and an intro or outro effect on a video fades its sound as well. Echo and reverb sound in the export as they do in the preview, and overlapping sounds no longer crackle. Audio items have « Fade in » and « Fade out » settings.
- 🔔 A calmer screen. Notifications use simple icons instead of colored emoji. The « Apply edit » bar in AI Edit always stays at the bottom. Features still being built carry an « In development » badge.
- 🌍 Translations. The last texts that still appeared in Turkish are now translated.
3.9.432
SEPTEMBER 2026- 🎯 Smart framing. « Smart face » and « Face tracking » are now one setting. The frame stays on whoever is really speaking; a laugh or a quick « yeah » doesn’t move it, and if the person gets up and walks, it follows them. A picture on the wall, a screen in the background, the audience and hands never become the target; in cartoons it looks for the characters too. It runs on the graphics card.
- 🧩 Split the screen. You can split the vertical output in two or three: the speaker on top, the other person or the topic image below. When only one person is left in the frame, it goes back to a single frame on its own. In the extension and in Super Edit.
- 🎮 Game + Camera. The streamer’s camera is found automatically; the only choice left to you is whether it sits at the bottom or on top. The camera band keeps the camera’s own shape, so the streamer stays fully visible and the frame is never cut. Game characters and faces in a film being watched are not mistaken for it, and the camera zoom effect applies to the camera band only. In the extension and in Super Edit.
- 🖼 Smart images. Super Edit’s B-roll was rewritten from scratch: people, places, clubs, brands, games or events mentioned in the conversation appear the moment they are said. People come from Wikipedia, companies with their official logo, and moving subjects such as athletes, matches, games, cars and rockets as a silent 5-10 second clip from YouTube. The AI weeds out wrong candidates and never covers the speaker’s face or the subtitles; it works in 16:9, 1:1 and 9:16. Settings like model, size and duration are gone — you only choose the look and the frequency.
- 🔢 Highlight numbers. Percentages, money, dates, years, scores and measurements appear in big, colorful text the moment they are said, with a short context line underneath. Numbers are written the way the spoken language writes them (%50 · 50% · 50 %).
- 🎥 The frame follows the object. With « Center » in object tracking, the video frame follows the object you tracked: when you turn a 16:9 game video vertical, the player no longer leaves the frame and stays centered. When the object reaches the edge of the picture, the frame stops at the edge so no black gap appears — the object is still inside. At a scene change the frame cuts instead of sliding, and text attached to the object stays on it.
- ✏️ Drawings become images. In Super Edit, when you leave drawing mode, what you drew becomes an image: you can move, resize and rotate it. A live-recorded drawing stays a drawing so its motion is kept.
- ✂️ « Apply edit » uses the part you cut. If you set aside a part of a long video, the edit works only on that part instead of scanning the whole video. Cancelling, or closing Super Edit, now really stops the work in the background too.
- 🎬 Super Edit preview. Stutter while moving an enlarged item and glitches while resizing are gone; resizing from the corner, « Original length » and a Camera that pans across the whole frame are new. The camera frame now has the output’s shape, and « Select area » shows the whole scene.
- 🗣 The « dot » syllable at the start of read-aloud is fixed at its root. Older readings in a project are redone; select a text, change the voice and apply, and it is read in the new voice — no need to delete the reading or edit the text.
- 📤 Long exports. The « file name too long » error in jobs with many designed texts is fixed.
- 🎞 No more jitter in exports. Zoom and keyframe motion now play in the export just as in the preview: the small jumps between segments and the stutter in fast zooms are gone. A zoom that briefly pulls out too far on a custom speed curve no longer makes the export fail.
- 🔲 Select area → layer is now adjustable. Releasing the box no longer drops the area right away: fine-tune it from its edges and corners, zoom in, pick a ratio (output, 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:5) or an exact pixel size, round the corners — press ✔ Apply and it becomes a new layer.
3.9.431
SEPTEMBER 2026- 🌍 The program now speaks 13 languages. Korean, Chinese, Russian and Arabic were added. In Arabic the main window runs right to left; in the editors the timeline still flows left to right.
- ✍️ Text designs everywhere. Text Studio designs work in Super Edit texts and in subtitles; the looks you save are in « My designs ».
- ✂️ AI Edit renewed. Steps come as cards; « Cut the key moments » was rewritten, and « Cut on scene change » splits the clip at camera cuts.
- 🎬 Long jobs are safe in Super Edit. Long operations can really be cancelled and fully undone; on long projects the export progress is visible and no longer stalls.
- 🖼 Overlays have a new look. Work in a separate window at 1080p, 2K or 4K scale. The slider that said « Transparency » now correctly says « Opacity ».
- ✍️ Designed text downloads right away. In the extension, a clip with designed text is now prepared without minutes of waiting and without slowing the computer down. With read-aloud on, the text stays on screen for 0.7 seconds after the reading ends.
- ✨ Auto title. The AI writes a short title from what is said in the clip and shows it at the start of the video in the text design you choose; each line can have its own design. You pick the title’s language, and it can be read aloud. It replaces the « behind the person » title in subtitles and has its own section in Editing & Subtitles.
- 🎯 Object tracking rebuilt. Press « Select object and track », click the object or draw a box around it — it is tracked through the whole clip. After a scene change the object is searched for again and checked that it really is the same one; places the tracker isn’t sure about show in yellow on the strip, and « Fix » corrects them in one click. Tracking runs on your computer using the graphics card; its component is prepared automatically, once, the first time you use it.
- 🎞 Long videos in Super Edit. Moving a split piece no longer leaves a copy behind, a long video’s sound plays cleanly in the preview, a deleted video comes back with Ctrl+Z, and a deleted video’s frames no longer stay on the new video’s strip.
- 🔧 User names with Turkish or Asian letters. On computers whose user name contains such letters, AI components such as voice-over, subtitles and object tracking could look uninstalled even though they were installed; fixed.
3.9.430
SEPTEMBER 2026- 🔊 « Preview » no longer keeps you waiting. Trying out a voice used to mean waiting for it to be made from scratch every time. Every voice, tone and language now ships with the app and plays the moment you press the button.
- 🎙 Five new voices, three new tones. Energetic young woman, soft-spoken man, soft-spoken woman, hyped announcer and female news anchor have been added; warm, curious and confident join the tones.
- 🎬 Twelve fixes in Super Edit. Darkening came out wrong in the export; speed now goes up to ten times and works on audio too; you can group what you select and move it together; one setting can be applied to everything you selected at once; gaps in the lanes close with a single click.
- 🔔 Notifications no longer get stuck on screen. Every notification has a close button in its corner, disappears on its own, and can be turned off completely in Settings.
- 🖱 This is not a web page. Text no longer turns blue when you drag the timeline, and right-clicking empty space no longer opens the browser menu.
3.9.429
SEPTEMBER 2026- 🌍 The app now speaks nine languages. Italian, Portuguese, German, French and Japanese join Turkish, English, Indonesian and Spanish. Pick your language during setup or change it in Settings → Language.
- Fixed — the end of a message no longer stays in Turkish. When the app ran in another language, part of a notification built around a number could stay in Turkish on screen.
- Fixed — the Medium, Bottom, Frame and Hue options in lists. The same Turkish word means a size in one list and a position in another; each list now gets its own meaning.
- Japanese, Korean and Chinese text is big enough to read. Small type was unreadable in these languages; on-screen text no longer drops below a lower limit.
3.9.428
SEPTEMBER 2026- 🌍 The app now speaks Spanish too. Pick your language during setup or change it in Settings → Language; Turkish, English, Indonesian and Spanish are ready.
- Fixed — the right-click menu and the download window now follow the app's language. When the app was in another language, the right-click menu on a video, the notifications and the progress window that opens during a download stayed in Turkish.

SEPTEMBER 2026- 🎙 In dubbing, everyone keeps the same voice from start to finish. One person's voice could shift slightly from sentence to sentence. Now every speaker keeps their own voice to the end of the video, and there are as many distinct voices as there are people talking. Tuned by measuring in all 13 languages.
- Dubbing fits the speech better. Short words invented where nobody is speaking are no longer read out, and broken-off pieces of sentences are joined. Short readings stretch over the length of the speech, one person's pace no longer jumps from sentence to sentence, and the background is turned down a little more only where the dub needs to be heard.
- « Make it sound like the speaker ». Dubbing can use a voice that resembles the person speaking — only if you tick the permission box.
- Fixed — dubbing and read-aloud did not work in Super Edit. The job stopped as soon as it started, and « Stop » did nothing. Both work now.
- Fixed — with subtitles off, dubbing and the censor were not applied.
- 🔊 Download with YouTube's own dub. If a video has audio tracks in other languages on YouTube, they are listed when the link is analysed, and « Audio language » downloads it with that track. Editing & Subtitles also has a « Download with YouTube's dub » option.
- 🧭 Editing & Subtitles, tidied up. Settings sit under four headings: Picture, Sound, Speed & cuts, Subtitles. Rarely used ones are under « Advanced », and the section is now about half as long.
- « Background MP3 » removed. The audio in Overlays does the same job.
- If IPv6 is broken on your network, downloads carry on over IPv4.
3.9.426
SEPTEMBER 2026- Fixed — three engines could not be installed on a new computer. The makers of the automatic subtitle, audio cleanup and offline translation engines changed how they publish their files, and the installer could no longer find them. It now recognises the new formats too.
- Fixed — « Video removed » on a direct video link. With a quality selected, a direct .mp4 link was not downloaded even though the video was there. The closest available format now downloads, and if something really is wrong the error names the actual reason.
- The installer speaks 13 languages. Component names, shortcuts and status messages now appear in the chosen language; if your system language is on the list, setup starts straight in it.
- 🎬 Automatic subtitles no longer make things up over music. Speech recognition kept rewriting earlier sentences in musical passages (357 words for 97 spoken words in one 2-minute stretch). Measured against the official subtitles of Tears of Steel, the error rate fell from 146% to 21%, fewer lines are skipped and subtitles are ready sooner. The censor and dubbing use this cleaner text as well.
- 🌍 Better translation on a powerful graphics card. On a computer with an NVIDIA card of 20 GB or more, offline translation now runs a larger model (12B) on the graphics card. Measured against the film's official translations: more accurate in all 9 languages (most clearly in Spanish) and about 7 times faster. The model downloads once (about 8 GB); if you already installed translation, it arrives by itself in the background the first time you use it. Without such a card, or when it is busy, today's model keeps working.
- Fixed — uninstalling left the translation and smart caption models on disk (up to 5 GB in total).
3.9.425
SEPTEMBER 2026- 🎙 Dubbing — make a video speak another language. Turn on « Dubbing » in Editing & Subtitles and pick a language: an English video speaks Spanish, Turkish or any of the 13 supported languages. The original speech is removed; music and effects stay. Each speaker gets their own voice (female and male kept apart), and subtitles, if on, show the dubbed text.
- « Voice-over » type: the original sound isn't removed completely — it stays underneath, turned down, like a documentary narration.
- 🔊 Read text aloud. Text overlays can now be read out: 6 voices, 5 tones, the language is detected or chosen by hand. The video's sound dips while reading, and the text can stay on screen until the reading ends.
- ✨ In Super Edit too. A « Dubbing & Read aloud » group in AI auto-edit, and a « Voice it » button in the Inspector for the selected text. The dip is now audible in the preview as well.
- 🚫 Slang and swearing censor, now for downloads too. A box in Editing & Subtitles mutes or bleeps swear words and masks them in the subtitles — even when subtitles are off. The word list got tougher: spellings without accents, with digits or split into pieces are caught too.
- ✨ Smart subtitles. « Automatic emoji and emphasis word » enlarges the key word of each sentence and drops an emoji in the right place; « Opening title » puts a short title, taken from the speech, behind the person in the first seconds. Runs on your computer, no key needed.
- Skipped lines are listened to again. Speech recognition sometimes passed over repeated chorus lines without writing them; those gaps are now listened to separately and added to the subtitles and the censor.
- Optional install: the voice engine is large (6-9 GB). Choose « Read-aloud and dubbing » in the installer, or skip it and the program installs it the first time you use the feature. Dubbed files carry an « AI voice » label.
- ⚡ Reading check twice as fast. Every reading is played back to confirm it was spoken correctly, and read again if not; that check took most of the time. It now uses more of the processor's cores and finishes in half the time — same result.
- Fixed — sound ran ahead in videos with a cover. When a cover image was added at the start, the audio started early by the cover's length. They now start together.
- Fixed — speaker separation didn't work at all on some installs. The first letter of the model path was cut off when it was read, and the feature quietly switched itself off.
- Fixed — music cut out in Super Edit exports. Background music went silent as soon as a narration or reading ended.
- Fixed: « Human voice only » silence cutting now really detects speech · « Stop » works during speaker separation · the translation engine shuts down 10 minutes after the job and frees memory · the spoken-language list now covers all 13 languages.
3.9.424
SEPTEMBER 2026- 🔑 The « HuggingFace Token » setting is gone from Preferences. Speaker separation has run on the built-in voice-fingerprint engine since 3.9.420 and needs no key; the field had simply been left behind in Preferences → AI Settings.
- The false warning is gone too. Ticking « Separate speakers » still produced « no HuggingFace key — subtitles will come out normally ». The feature works fine without a key, and the warning was talking people out of using it.
- The Gemini, OpenAI and Claude keys are still there — those are still used.
3.9.420
SEPTEMBER 2026- 🗣️ Separate and colour the speakers — it actually works now. In podcasts, interviews and multi-person streams each speaker is written in a different colour. The app works out how many people there are and who spoke when by itself — it recognises them from the voice fingerprint and, when faces are visible, confirms it from the picture.
- The old one never worked at all. The checkbox existed, but the engine side depended on a component that was not installed and on a HuggingFace key; ticking the box did nothing and said nothing about why. Neither the key nor that component is needed any more.
- The « minimum / maximum speakers » boxes were removed. Asking you for the number of speakers meant « if you do not know, you get a bad result ». One checkbox is left; everything else is automatic.
- Compatible with every design and presentation. The colour changes only the text itself; the outline, shadow and box keep the colour of the design you picked. It works in all four presentations — sentence, single word, karaoke and stacking. If the karaoke highlight clashes with a speaker colour the highlight turns white on its own — otherwise the highlighted word became invisible.
- The preview shows it too. Tick the box and the preview alternates between two speakers; you see what you will get before downloading.
- On first use a ~25 MB recognition component downloads by itself; you do not have to run anything.
3.9.417
SEPTEMBER 2026- 🔴 Translation could not be selected — fixed. The « Subtitle language (translation) » list stayed empty: the file that builds the language table was not being loaded into the popup. There was no error message either — the list quietly stayed on « No translation ». 10 target languages can now be chosen.
- New: subtitle PRESENTATION. Until now there was only one — « print the sentence ». There are now four presentations, independent of the design: Sentence · Single word (one word at a time, large — gaming/TikTok) · Karaoke (the sentence stays, the spoken word grows and changes colour) · Stacking (words are added one by one). Any design can be combined with any presentation.
- New: subtitle size. There was no setting before; every design came out at its own fixed point size. There are now five steps from 75% to 145%, and on boxed designs the box grows with the text.
- Four new designs. All ten of the old ones came from the « thin outline + shadow » family. The new ones are different families: Gamer (very heavy outline, ALL CAPS), Highlight Box (a solid coloured box behind the spoken word), Heavy Outline (no shadow, the most readable), Lower Band (small and calm — documentary).
- The preview shows all of it. Size and presentation feed into the live preview too — you see what you will get before downloading.
3.9.413
SEPTEMBER 2026- Subtitles no longer disappear at a cut. When the automatic edit split the video into pieces, a subtitle that straddled a cut showed up in only one piece; on the other side the screen stayed blank while speech continued, and the next line then looked like it « arrived late ». Measured on a real project: 11 of 14 subtitle gaps began exactly at a cut point, and 59 words were spoken without subtitles in those gaps (the longest 2.7 seconds). A subtitle now appears in every piece it touches, and the text is divided in proportion to how long each piece is heard. Coverage measured on the same edit: from 78% to 100%.
- Instruction text no longer leaks into the subtitles. While repairing reading speed, the AI sometimes returned the rule it had been given instead of rewriting the sentence, and a line like « Within 16 characters at most. » appeared on screen. A shortened line is now rejected if its content does not match the original — both in Super Edit and on the download screen.
- Half-lines left stranded on screen are merged. One-word fragments like « instead, » or « and this too. » sat on screen for a second and a half. They now join the neighbouring line — as long as that does not break the reading speed or the fit on screen. In the same video, all nine orphaned fragments were closed.
- Reading-speed repair. When a translation grows too long for one line, the app has the sentence rewritten shorter (in professional subtitling this is called condensation). Measured on a real project: the share of lines over the comfortable reading limit fell from 80% to 30%, and the median reading speed from 25.8 to 15.2 characters per second.
- Subtitles can now be translated — on the main download screen too. Even when the video is spoken in English, you can get the subtitles in another language. This used to exist only inside Super Edit; the « Language » field on the download screen selected the spoken language, and because of its name most people took it for the target language. There are now two separate fields: Spoken language and Subtitle language.
- Subtitles no longer arrive late. Translation is now done on the whole sentence and then fitted back onto the spoken word timings. Previously 3-5 word fragments were translated one by one; because the verb goes last in Turkish the meaning arrived late and lines made no sense on their own (things like « these variants. However these two »). Measured: in the same video the share of lines over the reading-speed limit fell from 25% to 0%.
- Translation without a key. The app now has its own translation model: no internet account and no cost. It downloads once on first use (about 2.3 GB) and the app handles that itself. Translation in the download flow always uses this model — your API key is never handed to the processing engine. In Super Edit you can pick Gemini or Claude if you prefer; the Test button tries the engine you chose on a real sentence.
- Each language gets its own reading speed. Subtitles are now broken into lines according to the target language's reading speed. That speed varies a lot — 17 characters per second in Turkish, 20 in Arabic, only 4 in Japanese — and the app previously knew nothing about the difference.
- Russian, Arabic and Chinese subtitles no longer vanish. Inside the engine there was a gate that checked whether a subtitle was « meaningful », and it only counted Latin letters. Measured: a 285-line Russian subtitle could not get through that gate and was silently thrown away with « is there no human speech in the video? ». Even in Turkish, everyday words carrying accented letters were not counted. Chinese and Japanese were worse still: the subtitle file came out completely empty and the app still reported « success ».
- Subtitles no longer spill outside the frame. The engine never wrapped long lines. Measured: in a real Turkish translation 74% of lines were cut off at the edge of the screen, and 86% in Russian. Lines are now broken in the right places.
- A failed translation no longer reports « success ». Previously, even when translation failed outright, a green « ✓ 143 subtitles added » appeared; you picked Turkish, got English subtitles, and saw no error at all. A half-finished translation was silent too. Both are now reported, with the reason.
- Small but annoying: the subtitle section told you to run a file that does not exist. The app installs the engine it needs by itself; that wrong instruction is gone.
3.9.411
SEPTEMBER 2026- The Freeform Composition editor now looks like the rest of the app. This screen used a green accent; Super Edit is blue and Multi-Panel was purple until last release — the app was carrying three separate colour worlds at once. They are all the same now. The icons are the app's own line icons rather than emoji (this screen had 114 emoji). A version badge was added — there had never been one.
- Pieces snap to one another. While dragging, they now snap not only to the edges of the frame but to the edges and centre lines of other pieces, with a guide line showing which line they snapped to. Hold Shift for fine adjustment and snapping turns off.
- Align and distribute tools. Align left, centre, right, top, middle and bottom, plus distribute with equal spacing. If there is a selection it applies to the selected pieces, otherwise to every visible piece.
- Multiple selection. Shift+click selects several pieces and aligns them all at once. On a screen that allows twenty pieces, they could only be selected one at a time.
- Piece lock. Once a piece is placed you can lock it; a locked piece cannot be dragged, moved with the keyboard or affected by alignment. The background piece used to shift accidentally on every drag.
- Keyboard navigation. Tab cycles through the pieces.
- The preview cover sent to the popup is no longer incomplete. The app counted a fixed amount of time instead of waiting for the frames, so on a twenty-piece composition the cover could be saved blank. It now waits until the frames are genuinely ready.
3.9.408
SEPTEMBER 2026- Saved projects open again. Project files saved in Super Edit since 26 August said «project content is corrupt» when opened. Nothing inside the files had been lost — the way they were written had simply drifted from the way they were read. Your existing files open as they are with no conversion needed; across six test files every layer, clip and keyframe came back.
- Your project presets open too. For the same reason, saved project presets would not load. The presets were never lost; they were sitting right where they were. Item and animation presets were unaffected.
- «Continue where you left off» is back. The autosave that restores your work when the editor window is closed by accident was silently disabled for the same reason.
- A file that will not open no longer wipes your work. If you picked a corrupt file or one belonging to another program, the app emptied your current edit first and reported the error afterwards. It now checks the file first; if it cannot be read, your edit is left untouched and you are told plainly what happened.
- Old Pitch / Echo settings are preserved. Opening a project saved before 31 August silently discarded those two audio settings; they are now carried into the audio effect chain on load.
3.9.407
SEPTEMBER 2026- Beats now land exactly where they belong. The rhythm markers that were found came about 40 milliseconds ahead of the real beat in the audio — that was the «it is rushing» you could hear. Measured and fixed: on the kick channel the deviation went from 41 ms to zero, and the share of beats off by more than 30 ms fell from 88% to 31%. Which beats are found did not change — only where they land.
- The channel that vanished on fast tracks is fixed. An instrument with more than 260 beats per minute (a hi-hat in genres like hardtekk or drum&bass) was silently dropped from the list. The limit was raised; on a test track a treble channel at 287 beats per minute came back.
- The app no longer looks «frozen» while analysing. The buttons lock, the one you pressed shows a working indicator, and the elapsed time counts up second by second. The first analysis takes a few minutes (the audio is split into instruments); later searches on the same track come back in seconds.
- It does not miss beats in quiet passages. If the intro or a breakdown was low in level, its beats never showed up at all. The app now opens its ear in those stretches; on the test track the beats in the first seconds were caught and everything else stayed exactly the same.
- The panel got simpler. A single Find rhythms button pulls out all four instruments at once, with individual search buttons underneath. Each rhythm gets Beep (check it by ear), Mark (put it on the ruler), Cut (cut on the beats) and Remove. The measurement line is readable now: how many beats, how often, how many BPM.
- Marker Tools is its own section. Selecting, copying, pasting, thinning, shifting and rubber-band selecting markers all live under Mode ▶ Marker Tools.
3.9.379
AUGUST 2026- Face tracking was rewritten — it does not lose the face any more. The old version could only recognise faces looking straight ahead: turn to the side, tilt your head or move fast and the frame lost you. Measured on a real dance video: a face could be found in only 23% of frames. It now works in three stages — frontal face, wide-angle face, and if neither is found, head position from body pose. Even with the person's back turned, the frame holds the head. If no face is visible at all it follows the person themselves and never freezes.
- And it is no longer late. The framing is measured eight times a second instead of twice, and the motion is computed both forwards and backwards so the lag comes out at zero. If the face vanishes for a moment the frame does not freeze and then jump — it glides between the two points. With several people in shot it no longer bounces between them either: it follows whoever it started on.
3.9.374
AUGUST 2026- Audio effects arrived — Library › Audio FX. Echo, reverb, pitch (up/down), telephone, radio, robot, chorus, tremolo, vibrato, bass, treble and lo-fi. Select an audio item and click an effect; the effects form an ordered chain and you can rearrange it — the order changes the result. Each effect can be bypassed temporarily so you can hear before and after. Because a clip's sound lands on its own audio item when you add it, these apply to clip audio too.
- You can hear them in the preview now. Earlier versions had two settings called « Pitch » and « Echo », but they did nothing in the preview — they were only applied on export. So you moved a slider, heard nothing, and the sound came out different in the finished video. Every effect is now audible during playback. Pitch/echo settings in your old projects are carried into the new chain on load; nothing is lost.
- The cards draw what they do. Sound cannot have a visual preview, so each card shows what the effect does to the waveform: decaying pulses for echo, a square wave for robot, an undulating envelope for tremolo. Hover over a card and it also tells you when to use it.
3.9.359
AUGUST 2026- Settings with no effect on the output — four of them fixed at once. This release was given over to a single class of bug: you change a setting, you see it in the preview, it has no effect at all on the output, and nothing anywhere tells you.
- The sound of a video you added never reached the output. The interface had a « Volume » slider, but that audio was not mixed in on any path. Measured: the overlay's sound was completely absent from the output; now both are heard together with the main audio not ducked at all. (If you add a file with no audio, the app notices and skips it.)
- The « slide » animation did not slide on an overlay with a time range. Say « appear at 10 seconds, slide in from the left » and the overlay simply appeared at its destination. The reason: the animation time was measured from the start of the video, not from the moment the overlay appears. Bounce and shake were affected by the same thing.
- Opacity, rotation and animation did not work in the Start/End placement. The same settings worked in the normal placement and were visible in the preview — they were just missing from the output. Two separate code paths had drifted apart; both are now fed from the same place.
- The files behind overlays saved into a preset went missing. After closing and reopening the app, applying the preset said « 3 overlays included » but the files did not arrive, and pressing Download stopped the download entirely — waiting did not help either. The files now come from the app's own media vault; if a file really is missing, you are told which one.
3.9.357
AUGUST 2026- The app window is actually used now. The interface was pinned to a 460-pixel column written for a browser popup, and the desktop app showed the same column: in a 900×955 window, 820 pixels sat empty on the right and 302 at the bottom. The shell now fills the window. The most visible result is in the Overlays section: in a wide window the preview opens on the left with the layers and settings on the right — the section's wide layout is genuinely usable for the first time.
- Two windows now see each other instantly. Overlay changes were only carried across when you came back to a window; with both open at once the focus never changed, so one stayed unaware of the other. Measured: nothing arrived for 6 seconds before, now 0.4 seconds. No handover happens mid-drag — the work in your hands is not interrupted.
- The Overlays section is smoother. The entire interface was rescanned every time the layer list was drawn. Only the part that changed is scanned now: across 60 draws, 1125 queries → 160, and nodes scanned 10,914 → 792.
- Silent losses were closed. Deleting on one clip and then moving to another made undo restore the wrong clip's list. « Apply to all clips » deleted the overlays on the targets without asking — it now says how many will go and asks first. And an overlay whose file could not be found was quietly dropped by the engine: it is now named in the log and in the summary line.
- Small but visible fixes. The « No overlays yet » box appeared twice side by side; one was removed. Words ran together in the setting labels (« KEY(CLIP… ») — the space is back.
3.9.348
AUGUST 2026- The Super Edit preview is smooth on heavy projects too. As subtitles, cuts and transitions piled up on the timeline the preview stuttered, while export was fine. Measured: drawing was not the culprit — painting a frame with every effect on takes 0.28 milliseconds (the 60 fps budget is 16.7 ms).
The real cause: moving a slider or typing a subtitle made the app delete the whole timeline and rebuild it from scratch. On a 180-item project that takes 52 ms, on 720 items 222 ms, and during that time the browser can do nothing else — which is why the preview froze. The rebuild now happens only when genuinely needed, once, when you release the slider; settings with no visual counterpart on the chip (outline, box colour, background blur) do not rebuild the track at all; and typing a subtitle updates only that clip's label. - The measured result. Frame time across a 30-step slider drag (on projects of 60 / 180 / 360 / 720 items): 25 · 75 · 150 · 261 ms → 3.6 ms in every case. The same while typing a subtitle: 25 · 82 · 143 · 257 ms → 3.6 ms throughout. Editing is now smooth regardless of project size.
- The ruler no longer forces a layout calculation on every draw. The timeline width is cached now, and re-measured only when the window size or the zoom changes.
- The problem report measures stalls too. The diagnostic file only had frame statistics; a 200-millisecond freeze was written nowhere — meaning the bug fixed in this release would not have shown up in a diagnostic even if it had been reported. The count, total and longest of tasks that hold the main thread for more than 50 ms are now recorded.
3.9.326
- Subtitles now appear at the same moment as the speech. The text used to reach the screen seconds before the sentence was spoken; measured, at its worst it was 7.4 seconds early. Subtitles appearing while nobody was speaking made up 19%; that is zero now. When the speaker stops, the text goes too.
- The Karaoke and Comic Pop styles are fixed. Both appeared word by word in the preview but came out as plain text in the video. In Karaoke the words are now coloured in as they are spoken, and in Comic Pop each word appears one at a time in its own colour.
- The Stop button really stops. Cancel during a download and the app carried on until the download had finished — on an 8-hour video that was the same as not cancelling at all. It now stops within half a second, and the half-finished file does not keep downloading in the background.
- « Remove the music / isolate the voice » works now. The installer was silently skipping a missing component and the feature threw an error. The installer now tests that the component really runs, and completes it itself if it is missing.
- The History tab became usable: the « Clear all history » button was moved above the list (down at the bottom it was hard to reach in a long list), and « Copy URL » was replaced by « Open the video » — one click takes you to the video's page.
- Two settings that did nothing were removed: HuggingFace Token and Fast download with Aria2. Both sat in the interface doing nothing at all; the first could even block a download while it was ticked.
3.9.324
- The app updates itself: when a fix is published, « An update is ready » appears on screen, and one click downloads and applies it. For most fixes you no longer need to reinstall the app.
- It tells you when a new release is out: if the app itself has changed, a « A new version is ready » card appears; it downloads and installs the setup file itself and reopens the app. No need to go looking for the website.
- Only the changed files are downloaded — you do not wait for a whole package for a small fix.
- Every update is verified by signature; if anything goes wrong, the version you have stays exactly as it is.
3.9.318
- Installation is a single piece: the installer brings everything needed — no manual steps left.
- No extra downloads after installation; progress is counted step by step.
- Technical component names were hidden from the interface and the installer.
